Northpointe Overview
The Northpointe subdivision is located on northeast side of The Colony above the Legends subdivision. Northpointe has 454 homes built primarily from 1988 to 1991 by Centex Homes and other home builders. These brick one and two story homes range from 1,500 to 2,800 square feet with most homes in the 1,800 to 2,200 square feet range. These are 3 to 4 bedroom homes with attached 2 car garages. In general, these homes have open floor plans and a contemporary layout.
There is no Home Owners Association (HOA) for Northpointe. The only Colony subdivisions with HOA dues are Legends, Stewart Peninsula and part of Ridgepointe.

School Boundaries for Northpointe Subdivision
The Colony Texas is in the Lewisville Independent School District. The public schools for Lake Ridge Estates are: Owen Elementary School or Morningside Elementary School, Griffin Middle School and The Colony High School. Note: LISD is changing elementary school boundaries for 2010 - 2011 school year which will probably have all Northpointe subdivision attending Owen Elementary instead of being split with Morningside.
